This collection of fine-art black and white images explores the regenerated River Clyde between Govan and Tradeston. Once the heart of Glasgow’s shipbuilding industry, this waterfront now presents a confident contemporary architectural identity.

The choice of black and white is intentional, stripping away distraction to focus on form, contrast, and texture. Each image is carefully composed to highlight the individuality of the structures.

Through vistas, architectural studies and abstracts, these photographs reflect a city that has successfully reimagined its relationship with the river, while including fragments of heritage retained to honour a proud past. The Clyde, once a symbol of industrial might, now flows under modern bridges and past spaces of creativity, community and commerce.

This body of work aims to elevate the perception of urban architecture and invite reflection on how cities evolve through a visual celebration of this regenerated area.
