I am now giving camera club talks covering my journey from straightforward, general black & white photography through to fine art black & white architecture photography. along the way i share photographs from my portfolio (including my successful ARPS Visual arts panel) but also before/after pictures and tips for shooting and editing.
most of my photographs are taken during normal life (work trips, camera club outings, holidays, university open days) and mainly cover the uk.
i hope that by the end of the talk, audience members will have an appreciation of how this type of image is created and to see that opportunities to make striking images are all around us.
for face to face talks (within reasonable travelling distance from ng13) I mainly show prints, but with some digital mixed in. I am currently putting together an entirely digital version which i hope to be able to present via zoom for more distant clubs.
